Trainer Evaluation Questions
- Why must the translation process be trustworthy and understandable? How does this reflect โone body, many partsโ in 1 Corinthians 12?
- Explain the goal of each stage from Stage 0 (Prayer) to Stage 5 (Iterative Publication and Revision) in your own words.
- You lead a new team with low capacity. How would you build capacity before drafting? Name key roles and first trainings you would run.
- A lone translator claims a new meaning no one has heard. How would you test it using peer check, community input, and church review?
- Community reviewers say the draft is unclear, but church reviewers say it is acceptable. How would you resolve the feedback and revise?
- Regional church leaders do not speak the language. How would you show your process and evidence so they can approve (authenticate/bless) the draft?
- How would you run an oral community check that uses โHear and Heartโ style questions? Describe the steps in a short plan.
- Explain how the Team Leader should move one draft through all groups. How will you collect feedback, track changes, and decide when to move on?
- After first publication, users report confusion with key terms. How would you plan and run an iterative revision in Stage 5?
- Your context has little time and many people to include. How would you adapt the locally-led Bible translation cycle to stay flexible and still protect quality?
- You lack people for some roles (for example, reviewers or leaders). How will you recruit and train them? Give selection criteria and a short training outline.
- Explain how the locally-led Bible translation cycle helps the church own, sustain, and scale translation over time. Give one example from your context.
