Quality translation resources enable Bible translators to create a trustworthy Bible translation. Many who want to be involved in translating the Bible have not gone to Bible college. Many do not know English. They speak their language well and have a deep desire for their people to have a Bible in their mother-tongue language. If they had reliable tools in a language they understand, they could help their church do this work. But they need churches who speak resource languages to create the tools for them, so that they understand the text and translate it clearly, accurately, and naturally.

For example, only a few Ticuna believers in Colombia have gone to Bible college and even fewer can read English. But two Spanish-speaking church networks in Colombia and Venezuela are working together to prepare the translation resources in Spanish. The Spanish-speaking churches also send believers to the remote villages to train the Ticuna to use the tools and resources for Bible translation. Now the Ticuna believers are translating the Bible for themselves!
