The BT Training Hub is built on a tool called Notion. Notion is not a regular website. It looks and works differently from what you may be used to. That is OK! This page will show you everything you need to know.

The short version: Think of the Hub like a book, not a website. There is a home page (the cover), main sections (the chapters), and training pages inside those sections (the pages of each chapter). You move through it by clicking into pages and clicking back out.

What is Notion?

Notion is a free tool that lets people build pages with text, pictures, videos, and databases — all in one place. We chose Notion for the BT Training Hub because:

Important: Notion is NOT an app you need to download. You can use the Hub in any web browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or the browser on your phone. If Notion asks you to "log in" or "sign up," you can close that message and keep reading.

How the Hub is Organized

The Hub has one home page with four main sections. Each section has pages inside it, and those pages may have more pages inside them — like folders inside folders.

To go into a section, click its name. To come back, use the ← PREV link at the bottom of the page, or use the breadcrumb trail at the very top of the screen (explained below).


Finding Your Way: Navigation

This is the part that feels most different from a regular website. On a normal website, you have a menu bar that stays on the screen. On the Hub, you navigate by going into pages and coming back out. Here are the tools that help you.
